The building is designed on computer in pieces with every little details of your home, including orientation, material quantities, and even the position of individual plug sockets. The material used for the building is plywood and is cut on a CNC router. In the workshop these plywood pieces are assembled into lightweight blocks, which is called as Lego-like "cassettes". On site you only need two people to put together these cassettes like snapping together Lego bricks.

It is here, on site, that the D – PROCESS transforms 3D digital components into your homes exact physical components, produced on demand, as required, keeping costs down and eradicating lead times.
Facit homes far exceed current environmental design requirements. They use materials efficiently. Insulation, for example, is pumped in loose, which means nothing is lost, and wood waste is collected and sent back to our supplier, where it is used as fuel to power the sawmill. Facit homes conserve energy and minimize heat loss. Their ‘embodied energy’ are taken into account, which means establishing where all raw materials come from and how much energy was used to make them. A range of supplementary environmental systems, such as solar thermal systems and photovoltaic panels, can be incorporated into the home. Each of the homes components are designed so that they are easy to assemble, an approach known as ‘Design for Assembly’. Designing in this way reduces construction times and costs, and means that the build runs smoothly, putting you in control.
